Job description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading private security service provider with a over two decades of operations in Kenya offering a complete suite of security solutions.
Job Summary We are looking for both ordinary and tech-savvy sales professionals with a passion for cutting-edge security solutions for the role of Technical Sales & Marketing Executive. The core role is to drive growth in electronic security, access control, and communications systems!
Key ResponsibilitiesSelling guard and electronic security systems
- Carry out surveys & technical systems audit
- Carry out technical surveys & prepare technical quotations for prospective clients
- Contact potential clients through cold calls
- Open business leads and close sales
- Identify Clients needs and provide solutions
- Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
- Build long time trust and relationships with clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- installation maintenance & service of Alarms Access systems, CCTV, perimeter protection systems, Tracking Systems, time & attendance systems, Automated gate system, communications system,
- Carry out technical investigations
- Ensure compliance to safety and other standards for the Company and client
Requirements
Candidate Skills & Competencies Essential:
- Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, closing, and consultative selling abilities.
- Marketing Skills: Digital marketing (SEO, PPC, social media, email campaigns), content creation, and branding.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of security systems (IP vs. analog CCTV, biometric access control, alarm systems).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for proposals, presentations, and client meetings.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret market trends, competitor analysis, and sales reports. Desirable:
- Proficiency in using CAD or security system design tools.
- Multilingual skills (if dealing with international clients).
Educational Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years in installation maintenance & service of Alarms Access systems, CCTV, Electric Fence & Tracking Systems
- ICT skills are essential
- Experience • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales & marketing, preferably in electronic security systems, IT solutions or related technology sectors. • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. • Experience in lead generation, CRM management (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and sales pipeline development. • Knowledge of security products (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, fire detection, etc.).
