Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading private security service provider with a over two decades of operations in Kenya offering a complete suite of security solutions.

Job Summary We are looking for both ordinary and tech-savvy sales professionals with a passion for cutting-edge security solutions for the role of Technical Sales & Marketing Executive. The core role is to drive growth in electronic security, access control, and communications systems!

Key Responsibilities

Selling guard and electronic security systems
  1. Carry out surveys & technical systems audit
  2. Carry out technical surveys & prepare technical quotations for prospective clients
  3. Contact potential clients through cold calls
  4. Open business leads and close sales
  5. Identify Clients needs and provide solutions
  6. Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  7. Build long time trust and relationships with clients
  8. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  9. installation maintenance & service of Alarms Access systems, CCTV, perimeter protection systems, Tracking Systems, time & attendance systems, Automated gate system, communications system,
  10. Carry out technical investigations
  11. Ensure compliance to safety and other standards for the Company and client


Requirements

Candidate Skills & Competencies Essential: 

  1. Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, closing, and consultative selling abilities. 
  2. Marketing Skills: Digital marketing (SEO, PPC, social media, email campaigns), content creation, and branding. 
  3. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of security systems (IP vs. analog CCTV, biometric access control, alarm systems). 
  4. Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for proposals, presentations, and client meetings. 
  5. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret market trends, competitor analysis, and sales reports. Desirable: 
  6. Proficiency in using CAD or security system design tools. 
  7. Multilingual skills (if dealing with international clients).

Educational Qualifications & Skills 

  1. Diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years in installation maintenance & service of Alarms Access systems, CCTV, Electric Fence & Tracking Systems
  3. ICT skills are essential
  4. Experience • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales & marketing, preferably in electronic security systems, IT solutions or related technology sectors. • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. • Experience in lead generation, CRM management (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and sales pipeline development. • Knowledge of security products (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, fire detection, etc.).
